One of the most moving ceremonies I ever co-created was for a 13-year-old girl. I personally believe that a ceremony of love, reassurance, support, recognition and encouragement of our young people is vital for their well-being. It also enriches the relationship with their family members and their community. This kind of ceremony must be personal and unique to the young person and is therefore is very work intensive. Ballpark cost $1500-$2000. <
A ceremony that properly reflects and honors the life of a loved one can take around 10 – 20 hours to write, consult and deliver.
May include: Face to face, funeral interview/conversation (up to 2 hours), writing of eulogy, organizing tributes, writing of ceremony, phone calls and consultation and ceremony delivery for one or two services.
Funeral fees are negotable but sometimes set by the Funeral Director
I can give you information, suggestions and a quote before you arrange the funeral.
This is where I help you make all the main decisions around the day of the funeral including: Order of Service, location of wake, choice of funeral director and advice on green funerals (including sustainable coffins).
I can assist you to plan your funeral and eulogy. If you plan your funeral, you take the burden off the family. It’s a wise move. I use the Funeral Planning guide from the International College of Celebrancy.
